Empowering Futures Together
At Foster Careers, we believe every foster care youth deserves a bright and promising future. Our mission is to help ensure that when these young individuals transition out of the foster care system, they have access to meaningful training and job opportunities that set them on a path to success towards financial independence.
How We Do It
We connect foster care agencies, construction industry leaders, and supportive services organizations using advanced workforce development technology. Through this technology platform, we help make meaningful connections and create a robust network of opportunities for foster care youth. By collaborating and working with us, you become a vital part of this transformative journey.
Challenges Faced by Foster Youth
Homelessness, unemployment, incarceration, unplanned pregnancy, and substance abuse are just some of the challenges faced by the foster youth population in the U.S. These disadvantages stem from a combination of trauma, instability within the system, and challenges transitioning to independent adulthood without adequate support.
